White and Pastel Pink
I think I’m going through a slight obsession with pastels this Spring, but most of all pink! Pink is my favorite color but you could hardly find it in my closet if you looked. Here are a few items that are currently on my hit list:
1. 3.1 Phillip Lim ‘Pashli’ Satchel $875
2. Sanctuary Leotie Crinkle Chiffon Maxi Skirt $130
3. Aqua Jacket $108
4. James Jeans High Class Skinny $150
5. TopShop sheer striped sweater $50
6. Dannijo Cintia Collar $260
7. Stuart Weitzman Capsize pump $375

Shopping for Spring!

DV Dolce Vita sandals, J.Crew vintage tees, Jimmy Choo Tam bag, Pelle Moda pumps, F21 denim & floral dress, Gregory Parkinson (Floral & Tie-dye)
This Spring I decided to change the way I shop! Hopefully this works because everyone who knows me knows that I just buy things without thinking. I guess I’m somewhat of an impulse shopper. Anyway, I really want to change the way I dress for Spring because I never really invest in Spring/Summer clothes. So I’m going to chronicle all my S/S purchases and then assess my closet once a month until June and see how many looks I can mix-and-match. No more buying one item that I need to purchase all new things to go with. If it can’t mix into what I already own then I don’t need it! LOL
Stylist: June Ambrose
I’m not sure how many people are aware of June Ambrose or what she does. Although you have probably seen her work without knowing it (She’s styled almost every heavy hitter in the music industry). I can’t remember exactly how I discovered this style maven, but what I do know is that I’ll be tuning into her new show on VH1 titled Styled by June! I’ve been following the “Rockmom” as she likes to call herself on twitter for about two years now and I truly enjoy all of her tweets! (Be sure to follow her “Style Chronicles”) She tweets her fashion picks while out shopping for clients, beauty tips, food, etc., but most of all her personal outfits!
She has by far some of the best looks I’ve seen a stylist put together on themselves. She mixes prints, patterns and textures in such a cool unexpected way, that you’d think she deserves a show based on her personal style alone!

Packing Tips
Learning the art of packing for a short or long trip can be tricky! This should not be a difficult task, as long as you are prepared and organized. After over-packing and overweight suitcases and carry-on baggage’s I had to figure out a way to get it right. It is always difficult to know how much to take, as well as how to fit it all in your suitcase. But, you can learn the art of rolling and folding your clothes, in order to maximize your space and increase the number of outfits you can wear on vacation. I like to have set outfits for each day/occasion and then two or three options just in case I’m not in the mood to wear the outfit I had picked out. However, the key to options is to make sure that they can mix and match with whatever your bringing along with you so your not overwhelmed with how all of these clothes are going to fit into your suitcase.
First thing you want to do is check the weather of your destination. Then you can pull out all of your clothes that are weather appropriate. This is the time I like to try to pick clothes out that I haven’t worn in a while and create new looks, so it seems like you bought new clothes but you really didn’t. Another important tip is try to stay in the same color pallet. Trust me, it makes it a lot easier to pack less bags, shoes and accessories. Now the fun part is playing dress up! I like to mix and match and see what I can come up with. How comfortable is the outfit? Is it going to wrinkle? Can I pair this with anything else?
