All White

I wanted to find a great all white ensemble because my Dad loves all white and wears it head to toe all the time. It being Fathers day, I’m honoring my outfit to him and his favorite thing to wear! Wearing all white is pretty easy except when it comes to jeans. At least for me it is. I’ve been on the search for the perfect pair of white jeans. Jean shopping is already extremely difficult but when you are looking for a white pair it’s about 10xs harder if you ask me! I wanted a pair of mid-rise or high waist skinny jeans that didn’t look like a legging or too thick like boyfriend jeans. This task took me about a month of trying on a ton of different brands and styles. I don’t shop that much at TopShop but I remember I got a good pair of skinny jeans when they first opened at The Grove LA. Low and behold Leigh jeans! They had “talls” so the inseam is perfect and the distressed knee holes hits perfect on my long legs (at 5’9 1/2 it’s hard to find jeans that are past the ankle length for me). I know all white is really big trend-wise right now along with mirrored sunglasses! I have been trying to step out side the box when it comes to sunglasses and have more fun with my shades instead of sticking to my classics.

This shoot was so much fun because while I was trying to figure out where I was going to stand my friend and photographer for the day was trying to signal me that Mindy Kaling was right behind me! Now if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you will know that I’m constantly talking about The Mindy Project or Mindy’s personal fashion. I had a total star stuck moment when I saw her. Working with tons of different celebs I’ve never been star stuck or “fan happy” to see someone! It was also pretty cool that she thought I looked FAB and didn’t want to interrupt. I’m happy to say that shes a total sweetheart in person!
