This past week has been an emotional roller-coaster. I can’t even begin to explain my feelings let a lone want to talk about them. However with all this uproar revealing peoples veils to the racial injustices and police brutality effecting the black community since this country has started. There has been a lot of light shed on diversity within the fashion + beauty industry. Lots of brands and influencers have taken the time to shed light on ways you can contribute to the movement by supporting black owned and designed businesses.
I always felt that I was aware of the majority of these companies but I was wrong! This week I have discovered so many cool new brands along with finding out that some I already liked are black owned! Taking a break from constantly posting on my Instagram stories. I decided to do what I do best: shop!
I love that this Fe Noel Wrap top can be worn with or without the belt. I’m excited to add this piece to my closet.
I’ve been on the hunt for a simple black bikini. I love the cut of this Riot Swim pico bottom. This will come with me on my next trip once I can travel again. I also ordered the set in brown!
I could not resist adding this Castamira oasis one piece to my collection. I can see myself wearing this as a bodysuit with high waist jeans!
I’m all about a good sheet mask. OUI the People‘s reviews says it’s great for sensitive skin so I’m excited to try it out.
I’ve always been into hair accessories. I love that Grace Eleyae incorporates a satin lining in hers to help reduce hair damage. I can see myself wearing this for when I travel.
BeautyStat has rave reviews in the beauty community. I’m surprised I didn’t discover this one on my own. I love vitamin C so I’ll be giving a review on this one after 30 days.
- This Hanifa dress looks AMAZING. I remember watching people posting about it on Instagram because it was the first AI digital fashion show.
- I love throw blankets. Lately I’ve really been into interiors because I’ve been redecorating my apartment. Eclectic Home has such a curated collection of home goods.
- I’ve been wanting a diamond pinkie ring for the longest! NOGAMA jewelry has the perfect signet ring for me!
- One of my coworkers came into work last year with the classic Telfar tote. I love the micro size in bubblegum pink!
- I’m sure everyone saw Rihanna rocking her Fenty shades last fall in all black. There is just something about them in white marble that makes them stand out.
- I have been in search for beautiful clay pieces. I’m really into Tracie Hervy‘s complete collection.
- These faux croc sandals by Brother Vellies have been sold out in my size for a while. Standing at 5’10 I don’t shy away from a heel but these are the perfect height for wearing all day.
