This summer I didn’t have much time to myself. Every weekend from May until this weekend has been filled with events. I wish I could share all my looks but it was just too hard to keep up with trying to find outfits for each event along with making time to shoot them. However if you follow me on social media I’m sure you got a sneak peek at a few looks. Since today is officially the first day of Fall, I thought I’d do a little throwback Thursday post of my favorites from the events this summer.
The first throwback is the look I wore to my best friend Brandi’s bridal shower. This was very exciting for me because it would be the first bridal shower I would be attending and my first time being apart of a bridal party. So as soon as I knew the date and location of the shower outfit ideas were running through my head both for her and me.
I fell in love when I came across this SS 11′ Valentino dress on The Real Real. As soon as I saw it I knew this would be the perfect dress for my friend’s shower.. After getting the dress I thought how cute would it be to wear my a complete Valentino look! I ordered the Rockstud flats in size 42 blush patent however I was highly disappointed when I received them because they run about a size too small (if you wear a size 11 a size 42 won’t fit, sorry)! So after being disappointed in the shoe department I went to my trusty fall back for everything in life: J. Crew.
By the time the 4th of July rolls around I’ve gone to a shower, a wedding and two birthday parties so it was nice to escape LA for the long weekend. I spent it in Vegas with my family. For the festivities I opted for my natural hair and a linen chambray shirt with cut-off shorts and a crossbody bag. It was perfect for the weather and comfortable for all the BBQ I ate that day!

After my birthday week it was time for the big #SoonToBeMrsAmazing bach weekend! Picking out my looks for the weekend in Palm Springs was fun and easy. I saw the swimsuit I wanted on Jessica Simpson a few months prior so I purchased that right away. Other than that the only additional item I purchased for the weekend was the Free People top. The Aquazarra shoes were a new purchase but that was my birthday gift to myself.

After the Bach weekend I attended the coolest birthday ever! My friend Sarah had us go to a 90’s themed prom in Hollywood for her 30th birthday. I honestly had the best time! Even if people weren’t in prom attire everyone was 9’s themed. I wish I had a full photo of my look.

A week later it was the wedding of the season (I still have one more to attend!) I chose to do my own make-up for the wedding because I’m pretty confident in the way I apply my own makeup. I did take a risk on doing shadows! I’m not big on eye-shadows just because I’m not that skilled at it but I love how this look on me turned outs! I might just do a youtube video on it. I used the Tarte “In Bloom” pallet along with Colorpop gel liner for the lids and Huda Beauty lashes in Samantha.
