Falling for Paisley Prints

As the summer is coming close to an end, I’ve been re-working my wardrobe to still be weather friendly but not look like I’m in the middle of July. The struggle is real trying to transition into fall when it’s still 80+ degrees outside! Who doesn’t love a good transitional piece that you can wear almost all year round.  I love this paisley printed dress because I can wear it with bright accessories now to lighten it up and then in the winter change it up! But, we’ll worry about that once the temperatures drop, lets talk my uber girl look today!

This dress is the perfect little work dress or even for a creative interview! Every girl needs a shirt dress in their closet. I love this one particularly because of the cut. Having a curvy shape I don’t want my assets (small waist) to be lost, so a fit and flare or a-line shirt dress works best for me. Yes, the hem line looks a little short for work but let me remind you I’m standing at 5’10 without heels so most dresses are a lot shorter on me. A pointed to pump is always a easy pick to polish off a look. I’m a bit over the top with the bright accessories but it works without being TOO much. Have fun with prints add pops of color and statement pieces!
