I decided to give this “visible panty” trend a try by wearing a black bra with matching high waist briefs under a crochet dress. Now this is definitely not for the faint at heart. It’s a very attention drawing outfit to the point that I think this trend is best to try for evening when you’re going somewhere dark and sexy. I think Anne V wore this trend best when she attended the 50th Anniversary of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Another looked I loved was on Kim Kardashian West when she was on Late Night with Seth Meyer earlier this year.

When it comes to picking undergarments, the key is black! It’s a go-to hue for a look that covers you up without competing with your dress. Depending on the color of your dress a neutral or a nude tone can work also. I would only wear a high-waist brief bottom for maximum coverage or opt for a bodysuite or slip if wearing lingerie is too daring for you!
