Not Another Trench

Street Style looks of sleeveless trenches from All The Pretty Birds blog

Yeah, it’s another trench coat post! I think I became completely obsessed with the Burberry trench that it lead me in an unconventional direction.  I recently crossed paths with a S/S 2010 Alexander Wang sleeveless trench that I fell in love with it.

Since I do live in LA and all, sleeveless coats should be the way to go right? Well for now, I hope this feeds my hunger for a classic trench in the mean time. There are just so many ways to wear this vest/jacket that I can’t make up my mind when getting dressed in the morning! With that being said I’ve only wore it once so far! But I’m hopeful for more stylish outfits to come out of this great find.

…my favorite was a too big but light tropical ralph lauren, hold the logo,
with cuff belts, really a high-count fine, fine cotton sheet with side
pockets buttoning forward, easy to wad into a medium package,
down to mid-shin, guess it had epaulets, the big belt so light
it twisted into string and looked like a streamer plunged by
a stitched leather buckle, the only piece of metal on it, and
absolutely not waterproof, a soft answer to a windy day or
a chilly evening, for even colder temps the perfect outer layer
for one of his thick cashmeres, but it was the soft feel of the exquisite
    algodon/Acton that topped it off.
